Sending a File to Multiple People Without a Group Chat

Needing to get one file to ten people doesn't have to mean creating a group thread just for that. There's a simpler route that skips the reply-all chaos entirely.

The Group Chat Problem

Adding everyone to one thread just to share a file means everyone also gets every reply, every "thanks!", every unrelated question someone else asks. It gets noisy fast for something that should've been simple.

One Link, Sent Individually

Upload the file once, then send that same link to each person directly, however you'd normally reach them. No shared thread, no crossed wires between people who don't need to be talking to each other.

When a Group Actually Makes Sense

If the file is meant to kick off an actual discussion among the group, a thread is the right call. But if it's purely a handoff, ten separate messages with the same link beats one messy group chat.

Bonus: Individual Tracking

Sending the link separately also means you can tell who's asked about it or followed up, versus a group thread where that's much harder to sort out.
